More about Indexation for inactive members

Checked on 24 March 2020

Philips Pensioenfonds seeks to have its pensions grow to reflect price increases. Adjusting your pension by the amount that prices rose during the previous year is called indexation. Whether indexation is possible, and if so by how much, depends on the financial health of Philips Pensioenfonds, expressed in its ‘policy funding ratio’. The policy funding ratio needs to be more than 110% for your pension to be increased to any degree, in accordance with our ‘indexation table’. The policy funding ratio is calculated by taking the average of the current funding ratios for the past twelve months.

All retired members and members with a paid-up policy were informed by letter about the indexation decision 2020. Via the link you can download the letters of 24 March 2020.
